This verse reminds us that God is both the author and finisher of our faith. The work He begins within us, our salvation and our growth in Him, He will faithfully bring to completion. It is a powerful assurance of His steadfast presence and purpose in our lives.
With that same spirit of perseverance and excellence, I ask you to join me in congratulating our Class D State Drill Champions on their fourth consecutive victory. Four years ago, this team was formed, and through dedication, discipline, and unity, they have claimed the title every year since. Their success is a direct reflection of their commitment and the strength of those who continue to show up and put in the work.
Additionally, our Commandery was greatly honored at Grand Commandery, receiving the Cross and Crown, the Gilbough Award for most points in the Order of the Temple, and the Dale Miller Award for the most impressive performance in the Order of the Temple. These achievements are not earned lightly; they are the result of countless hours of effort, sacrifice, and devotion. To every Sir Knight who contributed, you have my sincere gratitude.
If it has been some time since you last stood among us, I encourage you to return. Your presence matters. Your voice matters. Our Commandery is strongest when we stand united, shoulder to shoulder, in faith, purpose, and service.
Our next Stated Conclave will be held on May 25, 2026. It would be an honor to have you join us as we continue this important work together.
Let us move forward with renewed commitment, confidence in His promise, and strengthened for His service.

The Ascension of our Lord stands as one of the great triumphs of the Christian faith. Having broken the power of death, Christ returned to the Father in glory, blessing His disciples as He rose. For the Knight Templar, this moment is more than a historical event, it is a summons to lift our hearts and our service toward the things of God.
“While they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.” — Acts 1:9
The disciples were reminded that the same Jesus who ascended will come again. Until that day, we are charged with continuing His work with courage, charity, and steadfast faith. The Ascension assures us that our Captain reigns, interceding for us and preparing the way before us.
As Christian Knights, we take this season to renew our resolve: to rise above the distractions of the world, to keep our armor bright, and to serve under the banner of the risen and exalted Christ. His victory is our confidence; His return is our hope.
May the Ascension inspire us to walk uprightly, speak truth boldly, and labor faithfully in His name.
